​​If you are able to attend all classes follow these steps to register:

*Review the steps at OHSAA.org.

*Create a profile on officials.ohsaa.org. *Search and find the SOWOA classes. *Register and pay for classes online through OHSAA.

*Complete the classes.

*Take the exam online.

*Complete the online concussion training. *Receive your permit.

*One year of dues to the SOWOA are included in your class fee.

*Permit renewals are sent out by OHSAA in May and are due by June 30th.

Becoming an Official

We appreciate your interest in becoming an OHSAA Certified Official. The first step to gaining your certification is getting educated on the process to certification. The class is held in the fall before the wrestling season begins each year. We incorporate general rule knowledge with hands on learning taught by our experienced instructors. You must be able to attend all the classes in the program in a given year.
